MANCHESTER UNITED are hatching a shock transfer swoop for N’Golo Kante, as per reports.

N’Golo Kante’s future is still unclear with Chelsea thought to be available to moving him on to raise funds.

Roman Abramovich has already spent £230m this current transfer window to acquire Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell.

Furthermore, the offer of N’Golo Kante would help bring down the deficit.

Presently as per report in Italy, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is prepared to make an aggressive offer to sign Chelsea star.

The Red Devils as of now have Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay, Bruno Fernandes, Nemanja Matic and Fred available to them in midfield – and also summer-signing Donny van de Beek from Ajax.

The 29-year-old is under contract for another three years at Stamford Bridge after signing another deal in November 2018.

The report affirms Chelsea would acknowledge a proposal of only £55m for N’Golo Kante.

There were talks between Chelsea and Inter Milan earlier in the summer to sign N’Golo Kante.

Antonio Conte signed ‘the nicest man in football’ from Leicester City in 2016 and would obviously be interested to reunite with the World Cup winner.

The issue for Inter Milan – who are set to sign Arturo Vidal from Barcelona – is money.

Report include the San Siro club would need to sell Milan Skriniar or Marcelo Brozovic to fund the deal.

The two players would cost somewhere in the range of £36m and £46m, with Inter Milan looking to then persuade Chelsea to bring down their asking price.
