Timo Werner has become RB Leipzig’s highest goalscorer in his last debut for the Bundesliga club before his move to Chelsea.
Frank Lampard’s side agreed a £53m deal with RB Leipzig to sign Werner this summer ahead of next season.
RB Leipzig’s Bundesliga season completed on Saturday and the club made sure about a third-place finish with a 2-1 triumph over Augsburg.
Timo Werner scored twice in that match and overtook Daniel Frahn to become RB Leipzig’s top scorer in the club’s history with 95 goals.
What a way to say goodbye! 🙌

Timo Werner also equalled another Bundesliga record, scoring twice as his record of 17 goals scored away from home this term is equivalent to Jupp Heynckes oversaw in the 1973-74 season.
Timo Werner completed the Bundesliga season with 28 goals, which is the most highest tally from any German player since Mario Gomez.
Just Robert Lewandowski scored more in the Bundesliga this season as the Poland forward finished the season with 34 goals for Bayern Munich.
RB Leipzig’s season isn’t over as they stay in the Champions League, however it has just been declared that Timo Werner will join Chelsea before the competition starts again.
