Three Chelsea players make England team

Three Chelsea players have been called up to England national team by Gareth Southgate ahead of the commencement of the UEFA Nations League campaign next week.

The players are Mason Mount, Reece James and Conor Gallagher.

England have fixtures away to Hungary and Germany, and then at home to Italy and Hungary

The Three Lions’ first game will take place in Budapest on Saturday 4 June, behind closed doors, as well as their home fixture with Italy at Molineux on 11 June.

So far Mount has made 27 appearances for the national team, with four goals to his name.

James has made 10 appearances for England, while Gallagher, who spent this season on loan at Crystal Palace, has made three appearances since debuting last year.

The Chelsea trio are among a group of 27 players who were called up by Southgate for the quartet of games, with potential for Chelsea players going head to head in Group A3 of the Nations League.
