The football new season has started, and the Premier League is beginning to look even more interesting, especially among the top clubs.
With Man Utd’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku looking dangerous and favourites to win the Golden boot this season.
Chelsea boss, after his side win over Newcastle United, has said he doesn’t care if Ronaldo wins the Golden boot so long Lukaku keeps scoring for his team.
Recall that Ronaldo, in his second debut at Old Trafford vs Newcastle United netted a brace in the Red Devils 4-1 win.
The two goals are the Portuguese striker first since returning to the Premier League after 12 years away.
Lukaku, on the other hand, grabbed his brace later on Saturday, as Chelsea defeated Aston Villa with a 3-0 scoreline at Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian star now has three goals to his name for Chelsea this season.
When Tuchel was asked after the game who would score more between Ronaldo and Lukuku, the German coach simply replied: “I couldn’t care less as long as Romelu scores for us.”
Ronaldo and Lukaku returned to the EPL from the Italian Seria A in the recent summer transfer window.
