Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool have reportedly shown their interest in signing Atletico Madrid’s Saul Niguez this summer.
Though Saul played an essential role for Atletico Madrid last season, the Spain international has fallen out of favour under head coach Diego Simeone.
The arrival of Rodrigo De Paul from Udinese also prove that he might struggle to get playing time next summer, and Atletico Madrid are willing to let the Spaniards leave this summer.
Saul has continued to be linked to Barcelona as they are ready to swap him with Antoine Griezmann, a player that bought from Atletico Madrid.
However, a new report from AS has claimed Manchester United and Liverpool are in the running and have met with Saul’s agent.
The Premier League rivals are willing to give Saul a chance to explore in England, having appeared on 337 times for Atletico, scoring 43 goals and providing 19 assists.
