Potter comments on Madueke’s signing

Chelsea’s boss Graham Potter after their weekend match vs Liverpool at Anfield also commented on their signing of Noni Madueke.

Potter described the 20-year-old winger as an exciting player who is ready to take the Blues to the next level.

He added that the former PSV star is a player the Blues supporters would like.

Potter said: ‘He’s an exciting player, brings a left-footed attacking option for us and competition in that area of the pitch. He’s a young player who has had a good start in his career, accumulated games for a big club in Holland.

‘He’s ready to take the next step and we need to help him adjust to life with us and to life in the Premier League, but again he is a player our supporters will like.’

Chelsea signed Madueke from PSV in a £20 million deal and he signed a 7 and half year contract with the Blues.
