Manchester United midfielder and France international, Paul Pogba in a recent statement revealed the toughest opponents he has faced during his football career so far.
According to Pogba, he listed Chelsea midfielder, N’golo Kante and Real Madrid star, Casemiro as two of the toughest players he has faced so far.
The Frenchman made this known during a fan Q&A which will appear in Sunday’s United Review match day programme when Man United host Liverpool at Old Trafford.
“My toughest opponent on the pitch? To be honest, it’s tough against N’Golo Kante,” Pogba said.
Casemiro [of Real Madrid] too… he is a hard one also.
He noted that there are quite a number of other bbut the duo of Kante and Casemiro are the first players that came to his mind.
Pogba is expected to return to action on Sunday when they face Liverpool in the Premier League.
While Man Utd are tipped to win the Uefa Europa League thus getting an automatic selection for the Uefa Champions League next season, they would however hope to win all three points vs. Liverpool tomorrow to further prove their worth as a serious contender in the Premier League.
