Former Chelsea star Emmanuel Petit has advised the club to make moves for Napoli striker and Nigerian international Victor Osimhen.
It is no longer news that Chelsea have struggled in front of goals this season and are looking to sign attacking reinforcement in the coming summer transfer window.
There are already speculations that Osimhen will be in hot demand this summer following his consistent scoring displays for Serie A leaders, Napoli.
So far, the Nigeria star has scored 21 goals in 25 appearances across all competitions for the Partenopei this season.
He is also currently the leading scorer in the Italian Serie A with 19 goals from 20 games.
“If I was Chelsea, I would go for Osimhen over the likes of Marcus Thuram. You know there is a striker’s curse at Chelsea but someday this will be broken and he could do it, “Petit told the Premier League odds.
“I have followed Osimhen since he played for Lille and he was already a very good striker.”
