N’Golo Kante Is not for sale says Chelsea boss
Frank Lampard says that N’Golo Kante “is extraordinary compared to other midfield players on the world” in the midst of hypothesis connecting the Frenchman with a move away from Stamford Bridge this season.
Chelsea have just been intensely dynamic in the transfer market and have already signed Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner ahead of the 2020-21 season.
Ongoing reports had proposed that Chelsea were available to selling Kante as a methods for raising funds for future transfers, but Frank Lampard want the midfielder to remain on at Stamford Bridge.
I have seen a few talks and reports about him and his future at the club. I have said it a great deal of times about N’Golo, he is a standout amongst other midfield players on the world and I would have wanted to have played with him, the sort of player he will be, he has everything.
Returning to Chelsea and getting the chance to deal with this club and having N’Golo Kante here is something I need to work with and appreciate. This season, lamentably due to wounds, it has been intense for him. It is ideal to see him new.
One of the silver linings of this has been we have had the option to get a couple of players fitter and fresher. N’Golo Kante is so essential to us as a team going ahead that we need him routinely, and ideally we will have that now.”
N’Golo Kante current deal at Chelsea is set to lapse in 2023, has turned out multiple times for Frank Lampard’s side during a injuries hit season.
Chelsea will continue their Premier League campaign with an outing to Aston Villa on Sunday.
