This Man Utd midfielder is playing to leave Old Trafford

Former Chelsea player Joe Cole has named one Manchester United player who is working towards leaving Old Trafford.

Cole opined that Antony is now at the stage of ‘playing for a move away’ from Old Trafford ahead of the January transfer window.

So far this season, Antony is yet to start for in the Premier League and has struggled to impress at Man United since arriving at the club.

Cole while speaking on Paddy Power stated that the problem with Antony is that he is a player that is perfect for the Dutch football league.

The former Chelsea player noted that the physicality of the Premier League is something Antony has struggled with.

Cole also stressed that Antony is a talented footballer with great technique and skill, added that it was good to see him play well against Barnsley.

The former football went on to say, he, however, doesn’t see Antony making an impact in the Man United starting team this season and doesn’t see him turning it around at Manchester United

Meanwhile, Man Utd will return to action in the UEFA Europa League when they play against Dutch side Twente.

They will hope to end their first Europa match with a win.
