Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag’s future is now secured at Old Trafford as he will be keeping his job next season.

Ten Hag recently revealed how the Red Devils flew him to Ibiza to convince him to stay put at Old Trafford.

Recall that until their win against Man City in the FA Cup final, Ten Hag had been linked with moves away from Man Utd.

A few weeks back Man Utd were linked with several managers who they wanted to bring in to replace Ten Hag.

However, after failing to secure a deal for a new manager, the Red Devils resorted to keeping Ten Hag as their manager.

Speaking via Dutch TV channel NOS, Ten Hag shared how Man Utd management came to him while he was on holiday in Ibiza.

Ten Hag also disclosed that Man United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe spoke to former Bayern Munich and Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, about the job.

Aside from Tuchel, Ten Hag hinted the Red Devils spoke with multiple other managers before returning to him.
