Rooney tipped to replace Ole at Old Trafford
As pressure continues to mount Man Utd coach Ole Gunner Soslkjaer with many of the club fans calling his sack, a new name has been added to the list of coaches that could replace the Norwegian at Old Trafford.
The comes as former Man Utd star Park Ji-Sun tipped former Man Utd star Wayne Rooney to replace Soslkjaer.
Rooney is currently the manager at Championship side Derby County and has been dealing with extremely difficult circumstances at the club.
With Rooney struggling at the Midlands side, Park, who played alongside Rooney at Old Trafford 2005 and 2012, believes the former England international is capable of becoming the Red Devils coach in future.
“I believe Wayne can make it. He had great experiences from a very young age and he also had many difficult moments in his career that he overcame eventually,” Park told GOAL.
“For sure, he has great leadership skills as well. So, I believe he can be United’s manager in the future.”
Park, however, also believes that Solskjaer should be given more time to turn things around.
There are speculations that the Norwegian will remain as Man Utd coach till the end of the season.
