Rashford speaks about Man Utd’s impressive form Vs Barnsley
Manchester Utd star Marcus Rashford had nothing but applause for his teammates following their win against Barnsley in the Carabao Cup third round.
Rashford said Man Utd attackers excelled in finding space and decision-making in their convincing victory over Barnsley.
Rashford who scored two goals from the 7-0 win also marked his 200th Man United appearance at Old Trafford as the Red Devils comfortably progressed to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
Aside from Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Christian Eriksen netted braces, as well as Antony, who converted a first-half penalty kick.
Speaking with Sky Sports after the match, Rashford said it was important that the Red Devils attackers have the kind of relationships they had on the pitch.
He also felt the club did very well against Barnsley.
According to Rashford, before the first goal, the match was a little difficult but after they netted the first goal, the Red Devils found better spaces and probably made better decisions in order to score.
Man Utd will now focus their attention on their next game against Crystal Palace in the Premier League this weekend.
And Rashford is hoping they will be able to maintain consistency with their performance against Barnsley and replicate the same during their away game against Crystal Palace.
