Man Utd coach and Norway international Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed confidence in remaining a manager at Old Trafford despite their recent defeat to Man City in the Machester derby this weekend.

The Red Devils lost to the Citizens in a 2-0 scoreline, a defeat that has further raised pressured on Soskjaer’s job at Old Trafford.

Highlights from the match showed sections of the home support that appeared to boo Solskjaer during the match.

However, Solskjaer has revealed that he is not fearful that he could be sacked as head coach.

“No I don’t [think he is on borrowed time]. I have good communication with the club all the time which is up front and honest. I work for Man United, I want the best for Man United. As long as I am here I want to improve this,” Solskjaer told reporters.

Man United will have to bounce back in the next match when they face Watford on the 20th of November.

Recall that Liverpool had also thrashed the Red Devils in a 5-0 scoreline some few weeks back.
