Ole Gunnar Solskjaer singles out youngster performance against Leeds United
Manchester United have begin their Premier League season with an impressive display against Leeds United ag Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side swept aside their rivals in a thrilling fashion with Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandez putting in a man of the match performance.
Paul Pogba assisted on four occasion with Bruno Fernandez scoring an hat-trick in a match that also saw 19-year-old Mason Greenwood and Fred scoring one goal each.
Speaking to press after the match, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has nothing but words of praise for Greenwood who gradually becoming an important player at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer stated that he believes everyone can see how much work Greenwood has put down in his preseason, in his summer, as he has turned into a man.
According to Solskjaer, Greenwood is filling out, he is stronger, his stride is stronger and you know when he ran away from the defender and scored his goal, it was a joy to see.
Solskjaer then added that Greenwood’s approach, attitude and application, everything he has done every day has been getting better and better and he think that’s maturity as well in the kid.
