Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reveals his plan for Manchester United this international break

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed his plans for the club ahead of the first international break.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his team have played two games this season winning their first match against Leeds United before being held by Southampton.

With some players set to leave for their country this week for world cup qualifiers and friendly match, Solskjaer has revealed that Manchester United are considering playing a friendly game.

Speaking with United official website, Solskjaer stated that there might be a behind-closed-doors game.

According to Solskjaer, it’s time to give them some time off as well the ones who don’t go on internationals because most of them have done the whole pre-season, so they’ve been working diligently and have been terrific.

He noted that some of this players, when you’re an international, then it means you’re playing well.

The ones who don’t have internationals will get the break and they deserve a few days off definitely, then we go again on the Monday.

Solskjaer added that the players will have the start of the week training then give them a long weekend off.

Manchester United earlier in the season hosted Burnley in a behind-closed-doors match at Old Trafford just days after their Premier League season began with a victory over Leeds United.
