Al Nassr striker and Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo, is in the news ahead of the start of the winter transfer window.

Ronaldo, who isn’t slowing down soon despite his age, is said to be open to leaving the Saudi Pro League side, with his contract set to expire in the next few months.

Recall that the Portuguese star completed a transfer to the Middle East in the summer of 2023 after his contract with Manchester United was terminated.

As of now, the 39-year-old is enjoying life in the Saudi Pro League, but a report via Marca claimed an exit for the five-time Ballon d’Or winner “can’t be ruled out.”

The Portugal captain is reported to be willing to “embracing a new project” and is not looking to hang the boot anytime soon.

With his two-and-a-half-year contract with Al-Nassr now set to run out at the end of the current season, the Portuguese star is set to enter the last six months of his contract at Al-Awwal Park.

From January, Ronaldo will be free to open talks with other clubs. There are, however, yet to be details about clubs interested in signing the star player.
