Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford, has continued to be linked with a transfer away from Old Trafford ahead of the winter transfer.

Rashford, who made it to manager Ruben Amorim’s squad during their defeat against Newcastle, is now likely to join Lionel Messi in the Major League Soccer, MLS.

The transfer will, however, only happen if the England star makes his intention of moving to the USA known.

It is no longers news that Rashford is not in the plans of Amorim at Old Trafford, fueling speculation about his exit from the club.

According to GiveMeSport, some clubs in the American Major League are monitoring Rashford’s situation at Manchester United in a bid to sign him.

The report added that the clubs are patiently awaiting the Englishman’s approval on his willingness to move to America before making any definitive moves for him.

Recall that Rashford scored his first goal under Amorim’s reign seconds into his first game at Ipswich Town and was tipped to play a huge role for the Portuguese tactician.

However, since that game, he has not appeared in any of the Red Devils’ games.

Amorim included Rashford in the squad for the game against Newcastle United on December 30, but the striker did not make it off the bench in the defeat.
