Manchester United star former club manager debunks rumor linking him with their team
Ronald de Boer has debunked rumor linking Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek back to Ajax as he noted the Netherland international is happy on England.
Van de Beek arrived in Manchester United during the summer as he has not been able to get enough game time under the guidance of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Netherland international has been handed just two Premier League starts by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer despite that he was signed for £40million last August.
This has led to rumor linking him with a live back to Ajax as many claimed he might be leaving on a loan deal just to get out of Old Trafford.
However, De Boer who shared the same agent with Van de Beek and is a coach at Ajax, has insisted that such thing will not be happening.
De Boer while speaking with talkSPORT stated that he spoke to Ajax and they said there’s no truth in it at all,.
According to De Boar, he didn’t ask to speak to them as he’s just focusing on his recovery on his ankle, and it’s not true that he asked Man United to leave.
However, De Boer admitted that Van de Beek is far from happy with the situation after just 11 starts in all competitions so far during what has been a frustrating first season.
Van de Beek has been injured for Manchester United in the past weeks and he returned to training ahead of the team meeting against AC Milan in their Europa league round of 32.
