Manchester United boss confirms possible debut for talented youngster
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed that youngster Amad Diallo who joined the club this summer will be making his debut against Liverpool on Saturday for the club’s under-23s.
Amad Diallo was one of the best youngsters in Europe and United had to beat off competition from other top clubs who were ready to pounce on a deal for the youngster.
His deal which was agreed last summer was finally completed some days ago due to work permit complications and Manchester United fans will finally have the opportunity of seeing him play for the club.
Though they will not be seeing him on the pitch with the likes of Bruno Fernandes or Marcos Rashford but Solskjaer has stated that he will be playing this week.
Solskjaer while speaking to MUTV’s Stewart Gardener, stated that Diallo will be in the Red Devils’ under-23s side to face rivals Liverpool on Saturday as he’s been training really well and settling in.
According to Solskjaer, Diallo is ready to get some game-time and match exposure and he’s looking forward to seeing him perform.
Manchester United will be eager to see the best of Diallo whose youth career with former club Atalanta saw him rack up 61 direct goal contributions in 93 matches, in all competitions.
