Man Utd vs Newcastle: Ronaldo to put pressure on Ole to start in the match
As the EPL return this week following a brief international break, Man Utd will on Saturday host Newcastle United at Old Trafford.
While some reports has suggested that Cristiano Ronaldo may not make his second start for the Red Devils because he was not available for full training having been on International duties for his him country, Portugal.
The Portuguese star has revealed that he would put pressure on the Red Devils coach for a nod to start in the match on Saturday.
If the 36-year-old striker get a chance to start, it will become his second debut for Man United at Old Trafford since returning to the club from Juventus this season.
Ronaldo noted that he is more matured and experienced for a game like that and thus he is ready to play.
“Of course, I will be nervous on Saturday, but I’m more mature, more experienced.
“I will be prepared. I’m going to put pressure on Ole now, to be in the starting eleven! I’m ready to go,” Ronaldo told MUTV.
The Red Devils are hoping the presence of the Portugal international will help turn their fortune around this season as they hope to challenge Man City for the EPL title.
