The latest report via the Athletic has revealed that Manchester United transfer negotiator Matt Judge has resigned from his role at Old Trafford.

Before his resignation, Judge was in charge of negotiating contracts and transfers at Old Trafford since 2014.

According to the popular news outlet, Judge is now working through a notice period in his contract with the club before departing later in the year.

He will not play an active part in the presume active transfers window of the club summer.

He is said to have left the club on good terms but has been considering his future in recent weeks amid a host of backroom staff changes at the club.

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has already departed, while chief scout Jim Lawlor and head of global scouting Marcel Bout are also exiting Old Trafford.

John Murtough now has full control of the football operations as he looks to help steer Man United back to the glory days with incoming manager Erik ten Hag at the helm.
