Man Utd captain reacts to win vs Leeds Utd

Man Utd returned to action on Sunday when they played Leeds United in the English Premier League, which ended in a 4-2 scoreline.

One of the highlights from the match was when the Red Devils captain Harry Maguire scored a corner, which was the first goal against Leeds United at Elland Road.

The goal was, however, the first time the Red Devils would score from a corner in 139 attempts.

In a post-match press conference, Maguire was asked about the stat and the England defender admitted it’s an area of Man United’s game they need to improve on quickly.

“I am embarrassed by the stat [nearly 140 corners without a goal],” Maguire said.

The Red Devils would go on to win the match in a 4-2 scoreline.

This has seen them remain in the top four on the league table as they hope to participate in the Uefa Champions League next season.

In another report, Maguire has debunked reports of any issues in the Red Devils dressing room between him and Cristiano Ronaldo over the captaincy armband.
