FA Cup: Man Utd vs Aston Villa – Possible prediction
Manchester United will on Monday night host Aston Villa at Old Trafford in the third round of the FA Cup, which started this weekend.
The match will be an interesting one considering the fact that despite the change of coach from Ole Gunnar Soslkjaer to Ralf Rangnick, the Red Devils are still struggling.
Currently, they are seated out of the top four on the EPL table, and their chances of returning there are becoming slimmer.
There are also issues in the Red Devils dressing room, with some reports suggesting that Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo could leave the club at the end of this season, having only joined them from Juventus during the recent summer transfer window.
Reaction to their game vs Aston Villa, former football star Michael Owen has predicted a win for the Steven Gerrard led side.
Commenting on the Manchester United vs Aston Villa, Owen told Bet Victor, “He’s only been in the job for a short time, but pressure is on Ralf Rangnick. Performances haven’t been good, and the club is desperate to win some silverware. Villa will be up for this and there’s no way Steven Gerrard will play a weakened side here. United might, and I can see Villa edging this. 2-1 Aston Villa.”
