EPL: De Gea hailed for performance vs Norwich City
Man Utd were on Saturday hosted by Norwich City in the EPL.
The game was intense for the Red Devils as Norwich pressured with the game nearly ending in a 0-0 draw before Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo was able to seal three points for the Red Devils via a penalty.
However, Man Utd coach Ralf Rangnick in a post-match statement, has hailed Man Utd goalkeeper David De Gea for an impressive performance vs Norwich.
According to Rangnick, the Red Devils were indebted to Dea Gea, who made a couple of saves to keep Norwich at bay and preserve another clean sheet.
Rangnick, in a post-match statement, said, “in the end, it was important to have another clean sheet, thanks to David De Gea, who made three or four brilliant saves in the second half and, overall, it’s most important we have the three points. [However,] I would still be happy with less chances, with less corner kicks and free-kicks. I think we just conceded too many of them, especially in the second half.
It was a fantastic performance by David. He was probably Man of the Match, especially in the second half. He made three or four brilliant saves.
