Wijnaldum reportedly signs pre-contract deal with Barcelona
Liverpool player, Georgino Wijnaldum stay at Anfield may be coming to an end this season.
This is because the latest report has claimed that Wijnaldum, who has spent fives seasons in the premier league has signed a pre-contract deal with Spanish side, Barcelona.
His current deal with the Reds will lapse this summer after which he would become a free agent. However, ahead of the summer transfer window, the Netherlands international has been permitted to discuss new deals with foreign clubs, with Barcelona leading the top clubs interested in him.
A move to Barca seems to be his best option as it would be an opportunity for him to reunite with the manager, Ronald Koeman, who Wijnaldum played under for the Dutch national side.
Koeman in a statement has also repeatedly declared a public interest in the midfielder, which makes it obvious that a move to Camp Nou will be favourable for the Dutch player as long as Koeman remains in charge as he is sure getting more playing chances with him in charge.
The Italian side, Inter Milan also at some point had shown interest in the 30-year-old, however, the reports via the Times claims that the Italian giants have missed out.
