Liverpool handed positive boost over pursuit of highly-rated Arsenal youngest
As top teams are eager to build a squad that will win them trophies at the end of the season, Liverpool are not leaving the future for granted as they are eager to sign young Arsenal striker.
Arsenal are blessed with numerous talents upfront and so it’s been difficult for young strikers to break into the team and the likes of Folarin Balogun are eager to move on.
Folarin Balogun’s contract will expire at the end of the season just months after Arsenal turned down two bids, one in the region of £8million from Brentford last year.
Liverpool are now ready to pounce on the situation by signing Folarin Balogun from the London club for free.
The Gunners striker is highly rated and has been capped by England at youth level but despite being offered a new contract by the club, he refused to sign due to a lack of guaranteed playing time.
According to The Independent, Mikel Arteta is keen to offload players this January, and Balogun has been deemed surplus to requirements along with eight other players who will be out of contract.
Arsenal will likely use the money from the sales to boost their defence and midfield.
