EPL: Liverpool vs Brighton – Prediction

The Premier League return this weekend, with Liverpool hosting Brighton right at Anfield.

Liverpool have been one of the impressive sides this season in all competitions and are considered one of the favourites to win the EPL title this season.

The Reds will head to the match after their recent 2-0 win vs Preston in the Carabao League, as well as their massive 5-0 victory vs Man Utd at Old Trafford in their last EPL match.

Brighton, on the other hand, will face the Reds after their defeat to Leicester City in the Carabao League during the midweek.

Ahead of the weekend match, former Arsenal star Paul Merson has tipped the Reds to emerge victorious considering their outstanding performance so far this season.

He stressed that he doesn’t see Liverpool losing to Brighton.

On the Liverpool vs Brighton game, Merson told Sporkskeeda, “I honestly can’t see Liverpool losing this game at the moment, and I’m going to go with another victory for Jurgen Klopp’s men. Liverpool 3, 1 Brighton.”

Liverpool are currently seated at the second point on the league table with one point away from league toppers Chelsea.
