Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is ready to ban his players from taking part in their countries world cup qualifiers if they are required to quarantine for ten days on their return.

World cup qualifiers will be coming up later this month and Liverpool stars like Brazilians Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino and Fabinho and Portugal forward Diogo Jota are among those who will be required to undergo ten days’ hotel isolation if they play for their countries.

However, football governing body, FIFA has given clubs dispensation to prevent players who may be affected by the regulations from joining up with their countries and Klopp might be applying this.

Speaking to the press about the situation of things, Klopp stated that he think all the clubs agree that with the same problems they cannot just let the boys go and then sort the situation when they come back by placing their players in a ten-day quarantine in a hotel, it is just not possible.

Klopp noted that he understand the needs of the different FAs but this is a time where they cannot make everyone happy and clubs have to admit the players are paid by the clubs so it means they have to be first priority.

The German tactician added that the whole situation is similar to the Champions League in terms of where the team play and you have to wait until the last second pretty much because people need time to make decisions and they don’t think too much about it as we cannot be influential in it.

Klopp who couldn’t hide his thoughts insisted that clubs just deal with what other people decided so they got kind of used to it but he think everyone agrees they cannot let the players go and play for their country and come back and quarantine for ten days in a hotel, that is not how it should be done.
