The report also claimed that Napoli will be moving for Liverpool defender Konstantinos Tsimikas who has emerged as a possible alternative.
Chelsea are reportedly asking Napoli to pay €20m for the Italy international, while Napoli want to sign Emerson on loan with an option to buy.
According to reports, Emerson’s contract expires in June 2022, but Chelsea have an option to extend the player’s stay at Stamford Bridge for one more season.
