Hushpuppi accused of attempting to hack Premier League club and steal £100m

Instagram influencer Ramon Abbas, known as ‘Hushpuppi’ to his 2.4m fans, has arrived in the US to deal with criminal indictments including one plan to purportedly take £100m from an anonymous Premier League club.

The 37-year-old Nigerian, who lives in Dubai, is known for posting photos of extravagance vehicles and five-star inns on Instagram.

He was captured in UAE a month ago and afterward removed to the US when FBI agents took over the custody of Ramon Abbas, who deals with indictments of contriving to engage in money laundering that is affirmed in a criminal complaint filed on the 25th of June.

Ramon Abbas arrived in Chicago on Friday, and is required to be moved to Los Angeles in the coming weeks.

On head of the supposed plan including a Premier League club, Ramon Abbas and others purportedly  attempted to launder a huge amount of dollars through business email compromise (BEC) frauds and different tricks targeting on a US law office and a foreign bank.

If indicted for conspiracy to take part in money laundering, Ramon Abbas would face a legal most extreme sentence of 20 years in federal jail.
