Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola has tipped Bundesliga side, Bayern Munich to win the Uefa Champions League ahead of his team Man City.
Man City are the top performers in the English Premier League and have been able to extend the form to the Champions League.
They had a positive outing in their last game following their 2-0 victory over Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday evening.
Thanks to goals from the duo of Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus, the Citizens were able to secured a spot in the quarter-finals.
However, despite Man City’s impressive form, Guardiola feels Bayern Munich, who defeated Lazio 4-1 in their last-16 first leg on Tuesday, have a better chance of winning the Champions League this season.
He told BT Sport: “When I see Bayern Munich I don’t think we are favourites. My target is West Ham in three days.
According to Guardiola, whenever people say Man City are favourites, he has to accept it, but Man City is a team who, in their whole history, has been to a semi-final once.
Man City however remain one of the main contenders to win the Premier League title this season as they sit comfortably at the top of the league table.
