Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has offered Aston Villa forward Jack Grealish some advice as he continues to be linked with Manchester United.
Jack Grealish has become one of the most sought-after talents in the Premier League with his performance for Aston Villa over the past few years calling the shots.
Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly eager to sign him, and Cesc Fabregas has urged him to do what he can to impress at Euro 2020.
Cesc Fabregas believes his performance at the Euro will prove he is ready to move to a club of Manchester United or Manchester City’s stature.
Writing in his column for The Telegraph, Fabregas stated that in the specific case of Grealish, this had been his first big season where everyone outside Aston Villa talks about him.
Fabregas noted that he does not know what his future will be, but there could be a big move for him, so he needs to show he is ready for any situation.
The former Chelsea midfielder insisted that if Grealish did move to a Manchester City or Manchester United, nobody would guarantee that Jack Grealish will start every single game. These kinds of clubs will be looking to see that he is ready to compete.
Fabregas added that it’s similar for Jadon Sancho, even though he was not in the squad for the first game, and these players like him and Grealish can have significant tournaments for England, even if it is off the bench to start with.
