Former Chelsea star gives Rangnick’s prediction at Old Trafford

Manchester United a few hours ago confirmed the signing of their new coach and Germany international Ralf Rangnick, who will managed the team for the rest of the season.

The Red Devils had to bring in a new coach after they sacked Norway international Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager.

However, former Chelsea forward Demba Ba dropped some predictions about Rangnick at Old Trafford.

Ba suggested that the German manager could be set to get the best out of Cristiano Ronaldo should he take the reins at Old Trafford as expected.

Talking to beINSport, he said: “Yes. I believe yes. Rangnick has the intelligence to get the best out of the players.

“Also, I believe that he also has that intelligence to adapt to that squad he has, when he has it.”

Rangnick is one of the popular coaches from Germany, but like Solskjaer, he has never coached a big club which have made some fans believe he would end up like another Soslskjaer.

It is yet to be known if Rangnick will be in charge when Man Utd face Arsenal in their next match.
