Former Chelsea manager and player Glenn Hoddle has shared his opinion on Kai Havertz as he advised the summer signing on how to improve his game.

Kai Havertz has been under the spotlight for some week now and as the Blues continue to revive their season, it seems the Germany international will always be in the news.

Fans have been skeptical of Havertz performance in the past few days as the 21 years old was criticised for his performance against Wolves.

Glenn Huddle while speaking to evening standards about the form of Havertz noted the midfielder is not showing the qualities that saw Chelsea lure him Bayern Leverkusen.

He noted that Havertz is playing a bit deeper and will surely see some changes if he starts arriving in the penalty area.

Former Chelsea manager added that Havertz is a good player and there is more to come from the star midfielder, but he looks like a character who needs a bit of time to settle as he’s a young man who need all the time to settle in the premier league.

Kai Havertz completedg a £70million ($92m) move to Stamford Bridge in September and has scored just four goals through 17 appearances.

Chelsea will return to action tonight when they face the Wolves in the Premier League.
