England’s hope of winning the European Championship was dashed on Sunday night when Italy won on penalties.

Italy’s victory at Wembley Stadium has sparked reactions from football lovers, with some heaping blame on Gareth Southgate’s decision to put youngster Bukayo Saka on the spot.

However, former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has pointed out the performance of Mason Mount during the game noting that Grealish should have started for the Three Lions.

Mount made his fifth start of the tournament for the Three Lions at Wembley on Sunday night but produced a low-key display for Gareth Southgate’s men.

Mourinho, who couldn’t hide his thoughts, quoted as saying by The Birmingham Mail: stated that some players didn’t come to the party.

The Portuguese stated that he doesn’t remember Mount as an example; he does not remember him adding that Aston Villa forward Jack Grealish has to play.

Mount had an outstanding season with Chelsea, scoring six goals and assisting on five occasions in 36 Premier League games.
