Arsenal. returned to action this weekend when they played Brentford in the English Premier League.
The game ended in a narrow 1-0 win for the North London club thanks to the effort of Kai Havertz.
Arsenal put up an impressive performance during the game but were unable to score until the 89th minute.
The recent win against the Bees have now pushed Arsenal to the top of the league table ahead of Manchester City and Liverpool who split points in their games.
Reacting to Arsenal’s game vs Brentford, Sky Sports’ David Richardson noted that it might not have been their best performance, but Havertz’s contribution ultimately saved them.
“That’s a big win for Arsenal. They weren’t at their best. Ramsdale struggled. But Havertz of all people got them out of jail. An important moment in their season.”
Havertz who joined Arsenal from Chelsea in the summer window has finally ended his goal drought at the North London club.
