The deal to take Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen to Chelsea has purportedly been completed over seven days.
The talented young playmaker has been vigorously connected with a move to Stamford Bridge recently, and Chelsea are perceived to be very close to completing an underlying £71.3m deal which could ascend as high as £89m.
The Blues are taking a shot at the official affirmation of the transfer now and an announcement is anticipated sooner rather than later.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the deal has been signed nine days ago, with just formalities to be completed from that point forward.
Once the add-ons has been activated then the deal will be done, it will be the Chelsea’s club-record signing and their 6th of a bustling summer transfer window.
Chelsea have just signed Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva and Malang Sarr this present summer’s transfer window.
