The Gunners have apparently won the battle for Lille centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes, with the Brazilian set to travel to London one week from now to formally finalised a move.
Gabriel Magalhaes’s future has been the subject of much theory recently amid recommendations that Chelsea, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City had all joined Arsenal in the race.
However, as per report from Italy, the deal to take the 22-year-old to the Emirates Stadium ‘is at long last done’, and he will go to London on Monday to sign a five-year contract with Arsenal.
Taking to Twitter to uncover the news, Romano claims that the Premier League outfit will pay £27m, including add-ons, for Gabriel Magalhaes, with an official announcement due one week from now.
The South American made many appearances for his Ligue 1 side last term, including playing six times in the Champions League.
The Gunners have also completed deal of Brazilian winger Willian on a free transfer from Chelsea as the club get ready for the start of the 2020-21 Premier League season.
