Chelsea star Cole Palmer has seen his impressive form with the club’s first team earned him a call up in the England national team managed by Gareth Southgate.
Palmer was originally named in the England Under-21 squad for the upcoming round of international fixtures during which they will take on Serbia and Northern Ireland in Under-21 European Championship qualifying this week.
However, following his performances with Chelsea, Palmer has deservedly been promoted to the England senior squad for the first time and will join Chelsea teammates Levi Colwill and Conor Gallagher during the international break.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form for Chelsea in recent weeks.
He has struck four goals in his last six matches, the latest of which was a penalty in our 4-4 draw against his former club Manchester City.
