Zlatan says this Chelsea striker is welcome at AC Milan
AC Milan star, Zlatan Ibrahimovich in a recent statement has said Chelsea striker, Olivier Giroud is more than welcome at San Siro.
Recall that Giroud’s current deal with Chelsea is expected to lapse at the end of this season with no sign of possible extension yet.
The French striker has been linked with moves to Italian side AC Milan who have been joined by the likes of Inter Milan and West Ham in the race to sign him.
While Giroud is yet to speak on his next destination, the reports have claimed be would be moving to San Siro.
But Ibrahimovic, who returned to AC Milan in 2019, is keen to see the Serie A giants complete a deal for the 34-year-old this summer.
“The more high-level players we can sign, the better,” Ibrahimovic told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Giroud has great experience and we don’t have many players who have won trophies.
“If he comes, he’s welcome. Also, because this is a very helpful group, willing to learn and improve, a well-guided group.
“Am I selfish? I have to be, there are many kings, but there is only one god and that’s me. But without my team-mates, I don’t go anywhere and I know it.
“Football made me meet people, travel, and experience different cultures. It gave me the life I’ve. What did I give? The most complete striker in the world.”
