England assistant coach Steve Holland has named one player that could pose a major threat to the Three Lions when they clash with France in the quarter-finals at the weekend.

Holland in his statement said the English squad must be wary of the threat of Kylian Mbappe and look for how to stop the France international.

Another dangerous player according to Holland is Argentina star, Lionel Messi.

“I think there are a handful of players on the planet that you need to give special attention to,” Holland told reporters.

“Messi has been one and probably still is.

“You’d have to put Mbappe in that kind of category I would suggest.

“We do need to look at trying to avoid leaving ourselves in situations where he is as devastating as we’ve all seen. We have to try to find a way of avoiding that.”

So far in the ongoing world cup tournament, Mbappe, who is signed to French club Paris Saint-Germain has scored five goals including a double against Poland in the Round of sixteen.
