This is owing to the latest signing of Marc Cucurella from Brighton, who will compete with Ben Chilwell for some game time in the current Blues squad.

With this latest development, there will be no room for Kenedy to play left wing-back for Chelsea.

Kenedy, who has been on the Blues books since 2015, has spent most of his time out on loan at five different clubs during that time.

The Brazilian spent the second half of last season as part of Chelsea’s first-team squad, where he only made a few appearances.

With two years left on his current contract, it is best for Chelsea to let him leave as he is yet to feature in any game for them this season.

The Brazil star has been linked with the Blues Premier League rivals Leeds United, but there have been no recent links regarding a potential exit.
