Why Man City should not sign Harry Kane
Ahead of the summer transfer window, EPL leaders, Man City have been linked with moves to sign a new centre forward to their squad.
One of the strikers that has been linked with the Citizens is Tottenham Hotspurs, Harry Kane.
Man City are out for a new striker owing to the fact that Sergio Aguero’s contract at the club will be over at the end of the season.
With this , there will be need for a new striker to support Brazilian player, Gabriel Jesus.
However, ahead of the commencement of tge transfer window, Gabriel Agbonlahor has advised Manchester City to avoid signing Kane.
According to Agbonlahor, he stated that the England international would struggle to perform at Ethiad Stadium as he would find it hard to adapt to the Citizens relentlessly pressing.
”You look at Harry Kane, he’s a fantastic goalscorer but is he going to want to do that pressing that Pep is going to demand?” the former Aston Villa striker told talkSPORT.
“He stated that Kane can get away with shooting on sight at Tottenham Hotspur but it would be hard during the same under Pep.
”If you’re not making that right pass and being super selfish, you aren’t playing under Pep Guardiola,” he said.
