Why Chelsea will abandon Aubameyang

Former Chelsea striker, Tony Cascarino in a recent statement revealed why the club will abandon Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in a matter of time.

According to Cascarino, Aubameyang is not the kind of player Chelsea need.

The Gabon striker, who move to Stamford Bridge from Spanish side Barcelona has scored three goals in 10 appearances as he appears to be struggling at Stamford Bridge.

Cascarino believes Aubameyang’s career at Stamford Bridge will not last as he urges Chelsea to sign a better striker.

“I’m not even sure Aubameyang is a player Chelsea will be looking at next season,’ he told talkSPORT.

I think what will happen is what happened to him at Barcelona.”

He stressed that Barcelona having signed the Gabonese in January from Arsenal must have realised he was not good enough and signed Robert Lewandowski from German club Bayern Munich in the summer window.
