Why Brazil youngster snubbed a move Chelsea
The reason behind Brazil youngster Endrick snubbing EPL side Chelsea for Spanish club Real Madrid has been revealed.
This comes after Endrick turned down an offer to join Chelsea after reportedly agreeing on a deal to join Real Madrid.
According to the report via The Athletic, Endrick opted against a deal to join Chelsea because his family felt the west London side were ‘more hesitant in committing to financial terms’ with a large element of the deal said to be performance-related.
The 16-year-old, who was linked with a move to Chelsea, agreed to join Real Madrid with the Spanish side set to pay his €60million release clause, with a portion of that figure being made up by bonuses and add-ons.
The Brazil forward will leave his current club Palmeiras in 2024 for Real Madrid.
Endrick made his senior debut for Palmeiras back in October and has scored three goals for the Brazilian club.
