Where Man Utd and Man City would finish this season
Former Man Utd star Roy Keane has predicted where his club and their rivals would finish in the Premier League this season.
While Keane believe Man Utd would finish in the top four, he, however, does not expect them to topple rivals Manchester City, who he has predicted to win the title again.
Recall that Man United were able to earn a spot in the Champions League under Erik ten Hag last season.
However, the expectation has risen after they signed Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund this summer.
The Red Devils began the campaign with a scrappy 1-0 win over Wolves at Old Trafford on Monday.
When asked if United could challenge City for top spot this year, Keane told Sky Sports: “No, I don’t think so.
“I just think it’s so hard to see beyond Man City. Again, I’ve said before, unless they really drop off and get really bad injuries and lose that hunger, then I think the other teams have a chance.
“United will be in the top four, Arsenal have improved, look at Newcastle. Aston Villa will respond well to it [losing 5-1 to Newcastle], obviously Liverpool and Chelsea, for a lot of the teams it’s about being top four and that’s the same for United.”
