We need to look for victory in our remaining match – Thiago Silva

Chelsea’s defeat to Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League ended their dream of winning a third title and chance of playing European football next season.

However, the club’s defender Thiago Silva in a statement said the Blues need to focus on winning their remaining games for the rest of the season.

With Chelsea having seven more matches to play in the EPL, their chances of at least finishing in the top six are out of it.

The Blues are currently seated at the 11th spot on the league table and will now face Brentford on Wednesday in their next EPL game.

Speaking ahead of their next match Silva in a statement via the Chelsea website said:

‘We have seven matches left, and we need to look for the victory in each of them.’

‘When we wear the Chelsea shirt we have to give everything to win. It’s difficult but we must continue, raise our heads and keep working.’
