UEL: Former Chelsea manager suffer 6-1 defeat to Bodo/Glimt

The Uefa Europa League went down on Thursday night and witnessed one of the most embarrassing defeats for former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

This comes as Mourinho’s led AS Roma said suffered a 6-1 defeat to Bodo/Glimt.

AS Roma headed to the match with the hope of extending their 100% start in Group C, but the game headed the other way as they were embarrassed at Aspmyra Stadion in Norway.

The game started with Erik Botheim and Patrick Berg putting the hosts two goals up within 20 minutes.

Carles Perez pulled one back, but Roma fired one after the break.

The second half saw Botheim add a second goal to restore Bodo/Glimt’s two-goal advantage before Ola Solbakken netted a brace, either side of Amahl Pellegrino’s strike.

According to record, the loss to Bodo/Glimt will be the first time a Mourinho led side has conceded six times in the Portuguese’s illustrious 1,008-game managerial career.

Mourinho happens to be one of the most respected coaches in Europe, having coached some of the biggest clubs like Chelsea, Man Utd, Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspurs in the past.
