UCL: Mount speaks on his role vs Dinamo Zagreb

Chelsea returned to action on Wednesday night when they faced Dinamo Zagreb in the Uefa Champions League.

The game ended in a 2-1 win for Chelsea and Mason Mount who played in a deeper midfield spoke about his role in the game that saw him named the official UEFA Player of the Match.

Mount on his role they altered it after their embarrassing defeat to Brighton last weekend.

‘We changed the formation a little bit,’ Mount explained.

‘It allowed me to drift and connect the midfield, and get forward as well. I felt good. It was a nice position for me.

‘When I look at a game the negatives stick out in my head, and I gave the ball away too much. That’s how I am, that’s what I think about after the game, but I did some good bits as well, so I’ll take it.”

Chelsea will now focus on their weekend game vs Arsenal.
